The Embraer 300EV has received certification from ANAC, the FAA and EASA © Embraer
Embraer’s Phenom 300EV has received certification from Brazil’s ANAC, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), making it the first light jet certified with Garmin Emergency Autoland.
Introduced in July, the Phenom 300EV combines performance and interior upgrades with new safety technology. With the certification complete, the aircraft is approved for operation in key global markets.
As the largest business jet equipped with Garmin Emergency Autoland, the Phenom 300EV can perform a fully automated landing if the pilot becomes incapacitated.
Embraer developed the multi-purpose electronic controller (MEC) to enable electronically controlled functions including autobrake and rudder-by-wire. The company says the system improves handling, reduces pilot workload and simplifies maintenance.
Deliveries of the new model are expected to begin in 2028.
