Qatar Airways signs lease agreement for A350-1000s

BOC Aviation Limited has agreed a sale-and-leaseback transaction with long-standing customer Qatar Airways for three Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on long-term operating leases.

All three aircraft have now been delivered to Qatar Airways and are powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines.

Steven Townend, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of BOC Aviation, said: “We are pleased to finance our first A350-1000 aircraft for Qatar Airways, further strengthening a partnership built over many years. We proactively enhanced our liquidity position earlier this year to support high-quality transactions such as this, and are delighted to deploy that capital in support of one of our largest and most valued customers.”
