AviLease places first direct Boeing order for 20 Boeing 737-8 jets

AviLease, a global aircraft leasing company based in Saudi Arabia, has placed its first-ever direct purchase from an aircraft manufacturer, finalising a firm order for 20 Boeing 737-8 jets, with options for an additional ten aircraft. This strategic move marks a key milestone in the lessor's ongoing expansion and signals its intent to become a major player in the global aviation leasing sector.

The Boeing 737-8 jet is part of the latest generation of single-aisle aircraft, known for its enhanced fuel efficiency and lower emissions. The addition of these aircraft will support AviLease's aim to provide modern, environmentally conscious fleet solutions to its airline customers around the world.
