Avmax acquires Qantas aircraft, expands Skytrans ties

Avmax has confirmed a landmark agreement with Qantas, further bolstering its regional aircraft leasing portfolio. As part of the deal, Avmax has finalised the purchase of 19 Dash 8 Series aircraft, comprising three Dash 8-Q200s and 16 Dash 8-Q300s. The first Dash 8-200 sale under this agreement has successfully closed, marking a key milestone in the company's global expansion strategy.

In addition, Avmax has entered into a long-term lease agreement with Skytrans for the operation of three Dash 8-200 aircraft, ensuring its continued service in Australia. John Green, Senior Vice President at Avmax, expressed delight at strengthening the company's longstanding partnership with Skytrans.
