Brussels Airlines to welcome three more A320neos by 2026

Brussels Airlines has announced that it will welcome three more Airbus A320neo aircraft to its fleet by summer 2026. The A320neo consumes less fuel, produces up to 20% less CO2 emissions, and offers a 50% reduction in noise compared to previous-generation aircraft. This will bring the total number of A320neo aircraft in the Brussels Airlines fleet to eight.

On November 1, 2023, Brussels Airlines received its first Airbus A320neo, directly from the Airbus factory in Toulouse. This marked a milestone for the airline, as it was the first time in its history that brand-new aircraft had joined the fleet.

Brussels Airlines currently operates five A320neos and announced that three more aircraft of this type will be added to the fleet by summer 2026. These state-of-the-art aircraft will replace two older A319 aircraft, while the third unit will serve to expand the fleet.
