Aircalin, the international airline of New Caledonia, has announced an order for two Airbus A350-900s to support its fleet renewal and long-haul network expansion. This investment marks a significant step in the airline's growth strategy, enabling enhanced service and increased capacity on key routes.
Currently, Aircalin operates a widebody fleet comprising two A330neo aircraft. The addition of the A350-900s, configured in a premium three-class layout with seating for over 320 passengers, will boost capacity by 15% compared to the A330neo. The new layout includes an expanded business class, providing a more luxurious offering for long-haul travellers.
