Falko expands portfolio in Q2 2024

Falko Regional Aircraft Limited (Falko), has reported notable portfolio activity for the second-quarter of 2024 (Q2 2024).

During this period, Falko expanded its managed portfolio by acquiring two E190 aircraft, leased to Airlink, from Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC). This acquisition forms part of a previously announced deal for a portfolio of twenty-four E-Jets. Additionally, Falko signed a letter of intent (LOI) for the purchase of two E170 aircraft, which also come with leases attached.

In parallel, Falko's trading activities included the sale of four ATR aircraft and two CF34 engines. Furthermore, LOIs were secured for the sale of seven turboprop aircraft, comprising five ATRs and two Q400s. Falko also delivered three aircraft on lease to European operators and extended the leases on four additional aircraft and one engine. Overall, Falko was involved in transactions for twenty-two aircraft and three engines, with a particular focus on turboprop aircraft.

As of June 30, 2024, Falko's portfolio comprised 260 aircraft leased to 38 customers across the globe.

Falko is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chorus Aviation Inc., a company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
