Boeing receives new orders from Korean Air, JAL and Luxair

Boeing and Korean Air have announced the airline's intent to purchase up to 50 of Boeing's highly fuel-efficient wide-body aircraft. This includes 20 777-9s and 20 787-10s, with options for an additional ten of the largest 787 Dreamliner variant.

Korean Air's selection of the Boeing 777-9 and 787-10 supports its planned growth and fleet renewal, aimed at enhancing size, range, and capacity to serve high-demand markets in Europe and North America, as well as popular regional routes within Asia. The carrier will utilise the market-leading efficiency and versatility of these wide-body jets to upgrade its fleet and add flexibility to its global network in anticipation of its merger with Asiana Airlines.
