Emirates SkyCargo orders additional five 777 Freighters

Emirates SkyCargo has placed a firm order with Boeing for an additional five Boeing 777 freighters, with deliveries scheduled between 2025 and 2026. Valued at US$1 billion, this order will increase the airline's total order book to 315 wide-body aircraft.

Performance throughout Q1 of the current 2024-25 financial year has been exceptional for Emirates SkyCargo, with consistently high load factors and tonnages surpassing 2019 figures. The introduction of these new aircraft will boost main deck cargo capacity by 30%, enabling the airline to enhance service in key markets and better meet global customer demands.
