BOC Aviation has reported its operational transactions for the quarter ended June 30, 2024.
The company reported a total fleet of 680 aircraft, comprising owned, managed and on-order planes. The average age of its 429 owned aircraft is 4.9 years, with an average remaining lease term of 7.9 years, both figures weighted by net book value. The managed fleet includes 32 aircraft and the order book consists of 219 aircraft.
During the second quarter of 2024, BOC Aviation executed 59 transactions. These included commitments to purchase four aircraft, the delivery of 13 aircraft, the sale of 11 owned aircraft, and 24 lease commitments. The company's customer base now includes 93 airlines across 47 countries and regions. Owned aircraft utilisation was 99% for the second quarter.
Additionally, BOC Aviation raised US$500 million through five-year bonds at the tightest spread in the company's history, demonstrating strong financial health and investor confidence.
