Azorra takes delivery of first A220 aircraft, leased to Breeze Airways

U.S.-based aircraft lessor Azorra has taken delivery of its first A220-300 aircraft. The aircraft, delivered from the Airbus facility in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada, will be leased to Utah-based Breeze Airways.

This is the first aircraft delivered out of the 22 A220-300s ordered by Azorra. The addition of Azorra's capabilities in the regional airline segment is an additional endorsement of the A220's versatility.

Beyond its positive cabin experience, the A220 plays an important role in helping decrease airline operating costs and environmental impact. Offering 25% lower fuel burn and CO2 emissions per seat compared to previous-generation aircraft, the A220 is the only aircraft purpose-built for the 100-150 seat market.
