Across nine A320/A321neo aircraft projects, AAM provided comprehensive support to the lessor in reclaiming Spirit Airlines aircraft following the Chapter 11 default. AAM deployed team members to DFW, GYR, and MJZ to manage both aircraft departures and inbound deliveries, ensuring no equipment was removed and all aircraft were properly secured. The aircraft were then inducted into LTS, underwent engine preservations, title engine swaps from other lessor airframes, and engine removals for storage. Subsequently, engines were sent to the shop to address the PW1100G powder-metal contamination issue, which required inspections, repairs, and component replacements for affected high-pressure turbine and compressor disk components.
