Gulfstream Aerospace (Gulfstream) has delivered the first G800, the latest addition to its next-generation family of aircraft. The milestone comes after the jet received certification from both the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on April 16, 2025.
The G800 is designed as the longest-range business aircraft currently available. It can fly 8,200 nautical miles (15,186 kilometres) at its long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85. At a high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90, the range is 7,000 nm (12,964 km). It can also achieve 8,000 nm (14,816 km) at Mach 0.87. In addition, the maximum operating speed has been increased to Mach 0.935, compared with the earlier limit of Mach 0.925.
