Following a successful test flight, KF Aerospace has announced the completion of its first ATR 72-500F aircraft for Purolator's British Columbia (BC) Feeder Network (Purolator). The aircraft, bearing manufacturer serial number MSN707, underwent a comprehensive passenger-to-freighter conversion over the past year at KF's maintenance facility located at Kelowna International Airport (YLW). The aircraft has also been unveiled with a distinctive new livery, showcasing the iconic Purolator logo alongside the KF Aerospace emblem on the fuselage below the tail.
This newly converted freighter is the first of three ATR aircraft set to modernise Purolator's BC Feeder Network, currently serviced by ageing Convair CV580s. The ATR 72-500F brings notable improvements in fuel efficiency, cargo capacity, and operational flexibility
