Airbus Helicopters Canada has reached a major milestone with Niagara Helicopters, as the operator completed its fleet renewal with four new H130 aircraft. The fleet renewal, first announced in 2024, marks a key step in modernising operations and enhancing the company’s premium aerial tours over the world-famous Niagara Falls.
The H130 offers passengers exceptional visibility and a spacious cabin, ideal for sightseeing. It also features a remarkably low noise profile — a crucial advantage for flights near environmentally sensitive and heavily visited areas like Niagara Falls.
“For more than 60 years, Niagara Helicopters has showcased the beauty of Niagara Falls from above,” said Anna Pierce, Vice President and General Manager of Niagara Helicopters. “Our priority is to ensure every passenger experiences it at its very best. The H130 is the perfect aircraft for that — it delivers comfort, visibility, and performance, creating unforgettable tours.”
With the addition of these new helicopters, Niagara Helicopters reinforces its commitment to safe, reliable, and customer-centred operations. The upgraded fleet supports consistent service excellence and ensures smooth operations even during peak tourist seasons.
Furthermore, the renewal strengthens the company’s sustainability goals by incorporating aircraft designed for quieter and more efficient performance. This aligns with the growing demand for eco-conscious tourism across Canada’s aviation sector.
Having flown millions of passengers from around the world, Niagara Helicopters remains one of Canada’s most iconic and enduring tourism experiences. Through its partnership with Airbus Helicopters, the operator continues to elevate standards in aerial sightseeing while preserving the natural beauty of one of the world’s most spectacular landmarks.
