SkyWorks Holdings reports Q1 2024 transactions and activities

SkyWorks Holdings hasndisclosed the transactions and engagements conducted during the first quarter of 2024 across its Leasing & Asset Management and Investment Banking & Advisory Groups.

Under the Leasing & Asset Management Group, SkyWorks facilitated the sale of two A321-200 aircraft leased to Aegean Airlines on behalf of Sierra Echo Aircraft Leasing. Additionally, SkyWorks negotiated the extension of the lease for an A319-100 aircraft leased to Bangkok Airways on behalf of a North American financial institution. SkyWorks also managed the sale of specific narrow-body aircraft for a North American network carrier.

In the Investment Banking & Advisory Group, SkyWorks provided advisory services to a North American low-cost carrier concerning business and fleet management. The company also offered fleet-related advisory services to an Asia-Pacific low-cost carrier and secured financing for two A320neo aircraft and two A330neo aircraft for an EMEA flag carrier. Additionally, SkyWorks assisted a North American professional sports league with transportation matters for the league and its clubs.

SkyWorks played a pivotal role in facilitating orders placed with Airbus and Boeing for 85 Airbus A321neo and 85 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft for American Airlines, along with negotiating a long-term engine maintenance services agreement with CFM. The company also acted as an advisor to Copa Airlines, facilitating the buyback of two 737-800 aircraft on lease with AerCap and Merx. Furthermore, SkyWorks continued to provide advisory services to a North American low-cost carrier regarding the sale-and-leaseback financing of certain new 737 MAX aircraft, airline investment due diligence for a North American investment firm and aircraft order book management for a North American low-cost carrier, as well as fleet-related matters for a Latin American network carrier.
